Alcalá Norte, the emerging band from East Madrid, has achieved a synthesis of sounds that evokes the diversity of influences that have marked them: from the melancholic echo of Joy Division and the solemnity of heavy metal to the naive pop of the mid-nineties, drawing on the raw energy of punk and certain bakalaos. This rich tapestry of sound is evident in songs such as Superman and La Vida Cañón, which stand out for their ability to fuse post-punk lament with pop-like melodies. The group makes its debut at Sant Jordi Club, after taking the country's main venues and festivals by storm with its overwhelming live performances, brimming with vitality and great songs.
