Alejandro Sanz performed at Palau Sant Jordi for the first time in 1998. It took place on June 18th and 19th, and later on September 12th, as part of his "MAS" tour, which gathered nearly 65,000 people. Since then, this artist born in Madrid has become one of the artists who has visited us the most: 14 concerts and 200,000 fans. We also highlight the triple event in 2007, three consecutive sold-out shows (July 3rd, 4th, and 6th, 2007) where 51,683 spectators were able to sing along to the songs from the "El alma al aire" tour.
This Saturday, June 17th, 2023, 25 years and 1 day after those first concerts at Palau Sant Jordi, Alejandro Sanz returned to Barcelona. The artist's devoted fans had the opportunity to enjoy his repertoire of timeless hits and surprises, as he shared the stage with two special guests: Manolo García, with whom he performed "Quisiera ser," and Niña Pastori, for a joint performance of the song "Cuando nadie me ve."
Of course, the song "Corazón partío" was not left out, a song that symbolizes the feeling we have every time he steps down from the stage to bid farewell to Barcelona until the next time. We hope it happens very soon.
