On the nights of 5 and 6 September, the Palau Sant Jordi danced to the rhythm of the bachata during the two sold-out concerts given by the band Aventura. The tour, ‘Cerrando ciclos’, allowed fans to be thrilled by a good selection of the band's all-time hits, such as ‘Su veneno’, ‘El desprecio’, ‘Angelito’, ‘Amor bonito’ and ‘Obsesión’, a song that reached the top 10 in the American, Latin American and local charts for more than 90 consecutive days.

The group of Dominican origin, founded by Romeo, Lenny, Max and Henry Santos, is considered one of the most influential Latin groups of all time. They were an integral part of the evolution of bachata music and are the pioneers of the modern style of bachata music.
