Hit & miss? No: hit & hit. There are no slip-ups in Bad Gyal's career. Only hits: from Pai to Fiebre. From Zorra to Flow 2000. From being a pioneer in adapting the urban lexicon to Catalan to traveling (physically and musically) to Jamaica and Latin America to delve into dembow, dancehall and all the genres that Alba Farelo likes to roll and smoke with a style that is already internationally recognized. From FACT Magazine itself crowning Jacaranda as best song of 2017 to sharing label with Kendrick Lamar and Billie Eilish.
But what's in store for Bad Gyal now, after becoming a generational icon and taking her sound system to both sides of the Atlantic? For now, Alba reveals two of the venues she will be performing at in 2023: her largest capacity concerts to date, on February 11th in Barcelona (Palau Sant Jordi) and February 17th in Madrid (WiZink Center).
Two totally self-produced shows that will give continuity to the show that the artist will take to different stages and festivals in the second half of this year (including sold out dates at Primavera Sound, both in Barcelona - Sant Adrià and Porto and in Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile and São Paulo) but which will also present several novelties, confirming that Bad Gyal is living a key moment and that nowadays her game is only governed by the rules she has written.
