The Mexican sun rose at Palau Sant Jordi on 17th July with Luis Miguel's first concert and did not set until the artist said goodbye to his audience a day later, at the Mexican artist's second concert. Boleros, mariachis... hits of a lifetime, (‘Amor, amor, amor’, ‘Dame’, ‘Suave’...), the artist's incombustible energy, luminous bracelets and, of course, his elegance and seductive smile: pure magic on stage and unforgettable moments, such as those dedicated to Michael Jackson and Frank Sinatra, artists with whom he sang in the past.
But Latin pop stayed at Palau Sant Jordi until Saturday 20th July, when Puerto Rican Ricky Martin made the night's adrenaline run high with ‘La mordidita’, ‘She bangs’ and ‘María’, among other songs from his ‘Live2024’ tour.
The two Latin stars have been linked to the world of music for 40 years and have performed several times at Palau Sant Jordi. Luis Miguel has done for 10 times, while Ricky Martin has played a total of 5 times. We hope they come back soon!
