Coincidence has brought together in the same week two British singers who share the initials RW in their names. Roger Waters and Robbie Williams, two very different styles, but true stars who have once again shone at Palau Sant Jordi.
On Tuesday the 21st, Roger Waters left us speechless with the spectacular concert of his "This is not a drill" tour. It had been 5 years since his last visit with the "US+Them" tour, which left us with an "unbeatable" show. However, Roger Water has done it again: imposing screens suspended over an innovative stage located in the middle of the venue, served the former Pink Floyd to offer his farewell tour. We will be missed.
In addition, from the rigour of Roger Waters we moved on to "the enfant terrible of pop" ... Robbie Williams who entertained us with his two shows on March 24th and 25th.
The "showman" made use of his ability to charm the audience by making jokes, sharing anecdotes, embracing the audience and thrilling them with the greatest hits of his musical career. Nine musicians, two backing singers and six dancers shared the stage with Robbie Williams. The grey hair has left behind the platinum blonde hair of the last tour eight years ago. The artist is celebrating his 25th birthday on stage with this tour. He did not avoid some "dark" moments from his past, even though he now declares himself to be in love with life, and with his family, his "Angels".
Two artists, three concerts, 18,000 attendees at each of them - thank you RW and RW for a great week!
